IDEC STARTING WORK ON A 72,000 M² WAREHOUSE FOR STOKOMANI IN VENETTE (OISE)
1 October 2019
IDEC has just started the construction work on a big, new project in Venette (Oise). This 72,000 m² warehouse developed by AXA IM – Real Assets on behalf of its clients will be home to STOKOMANI, which specialises in stock clearance for brand names. Work began during the summer and will continue until August 2020.
First project for STOKOMANI
STOKOMANI, a firm specialising in clearing sticks for brand names (fashion, beauty products, household goods, textiles and toys, …) has entrusted IDEC with the construction of a logistics platform developed by the investor, AXA – Real Assets on behalf of its clients with its advisors, ETYO in Venette. This project is part of a park with three warehouses already set up in the Oise department and will enable the French leader to supply its 100 sale outlets across France.
A 72,000 m² logistics platform
This latest carefully designed project with reflective surfaces is based around a dry storage area with six units (five each covering 12,000 m² and one covering 9500 m²). Two of them are equipped with a rack system and narrow aisles with automatic racking system. This logistics platform will also include two charging areas measuring 1400 m², a 1200 m² office block, staff room for drivers, a guard post and an external storage area.
BREAAM Good Level certification
In order to meet its client’s requirements, IDEC is aiming for BREEAM Good Level certification for this latest logistics project. To achieve this, the staff at the IDEC environmental unit will be working around a carefully designed construction to limit energy consumption and erect a sustainable building, which has a limited impact on the environment. When delivered, this warehouse will join the properties built by IDEC and already certified and which cover 1.5 million m².
11 months of work
Work on this 72, 000 m² project started this summer with a lot of time spent preparing the plot. In all, 350,000 m3 of earth was bulldozed and spread over the plot. Around 3500 rigid inclusions were put in place to stabilise the ground. The construction work will continue until August 2020. Some parts will be made available two months in advance before the final completion of two units every fortnight.
