THE FRENCH PRIME MINISTER VISITS A SITE BUILT BY IDEC

On Monday 16th September, the French Prime Minister visited a site built by the IDEC teams in Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis). Edouard PHILIPPE was handed a report drawn up by Patrick DAHER and Eric HEMAR to develop logistics businesses across France.
Ministerial visit in Aulnay-sous-Bois
The French Prime Minister, Edouard PHILIPPE visited Aunay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) on Monday to be given a strategy report to boost the logistics sector in France. Several concrete measures have already been presented, in particular concerning the official paperwork to accelerate the construction of warehouses, the establishment of a digital logistics platform and an action plan for jobs in the sector. These announcements were made during a visit to a warehouse recently handed over by IDEC in Aulnay-sous-Bois.
A logistics project built by IDEC
Edouard PHILIPPE’s visit was to a 63,000 m² logistics warehouse delivered in the spring by IDEC. This project built on the brown field site left by PSA to a major retail er measures more than 500 m in length. I8t includes ten dry units and a 1500 m² office block for the administrative work.
BREEAM Very Good level certification and the BioDivercity label
Thanks to its expertise in building sustainable projects having already built 1.5 million square metres that have been certified, IDEC worked with their client on the construction of a project where the environmental impact was taken very seriously. This warehouse benefits from BREEAM Very Good level certification, proof of the attention paid to its design and its low energy consumption. The project was also awarded the Biodivercity Label to stress the strong ecological approach, in the design and construction as well as during its use.
